Hiddenbrooke Trail – Vallejo

Posted on 27 February 2011

The Bay Area Ridge Trail Council has worked diligently for over twenty years to fund and create access to the natural beauty and trails throughout our area. One of the quiet little trails that integrates community and nature is the Hiddenbrooke Trail in Vallejo. At this time, it is about a five mile in and out trail with nice inclines. It is camouflaged by the housing development. The staging area is on the frontage road off Interstate 80 at the American Canyon offramp. A slight walk on the paved walkway leads you to the trail head opening. The grassy path leads you up the hill to panoramic views of the bay and pastures. This is a great trail for finding inclines and peace of mind. There is a surprising little bench to enjoy the views. Information about the Bay Area Ridge Trail can be viewed at www.ridgetrail.org.
